The Suffolk Festival of Performing Arts is a well-established charity that has been hosting competitions in drama, music and dance for over 95 years. Throughout that time, our mission has remained the same: to empower local talent and to provide a space for Suffolk performers to show their craft and dedication. From classical piano to vocal solo, monologue to group drama, we believe every performance is special and invite you, whether you are taking part or watching, to join us in celebrating the rich artistic tradition of Suffolk.

Our competitions are for amateur performers living in Suffolk and are divided into a range of subcategories and age groups. Due to the high number of applicants, our festival is split into two successive weekends, one focusing on speech and drama and the other on musical and vocal performances.
